Cookie Policy

Last updated: March 1, 2025

This Cookie Policy explains how Queen One, Inc. ("Queen One," "we," "us," or "our") uses cookies and similar tracking technologies when you visit our website at quennone.us and use our platform (the "Service"). It describes what these technologies are, why we use them, the types of cookies we deploy, and your rights and choices to control their use.

By using our Service and clicking "Accept All" on the cookie consent banner, you consent to our use of cookies as described in this policy. If you select "Manage Preferences," you can control which non-essential cookies we set. You can withdraw your consent or change your preferences at any time using the methods described in Section 6 of this policy.

1. What Are Cookies?

Cookies are small text files that are placed on your device (computer, smartphone, tablet, or other connected device) when you visit a website. They are widely used to make websites work more efficiently, provide a better user experience, and supply website operators with analytical and marketing information.

Cookies are created by the web server that delivers the page you are visiting and stored on your device. When you return to the same website, your browser sends the cookie back to the server, allowing it to recognize your device and recall information about your previous visit. Cookies set by Queen One are called "first-party cookies." Cookies set by any domain other than Queen One are called "third-party cookies."

Beyond cookies, we also use related tracking technologies including:

  • Web Beacons (Pixel Tags): Small transparent images embedded in web pages or emails that allow us to detect when content has been displayed or a link has been clicked. Web beacons help us measure the effectiveness of our communications.
  • Local Storage: We use the browser's localStorage API to store your cookie consent preference ("cookieConsent" key). This is stored locally on your device and is not transmitted to our servers.
  • Session Storage: Temporary storage cleared when your browser session ends, used for maintaining state during a single visit.

2. Why We Use Cookies

We use cookies and similar technologies for several important purposes:

  • Essential Operation: Some cookies are strictly necessary for the Service to function. They enable core functionality such as account login, authentication, session management, and security features. Without these cookies, the Service cannot function properly.
  • Performance and Analytics: We use cookies to understand how visitors interact with our Service — which pages they visit, how long they spend, what features they use, and where they encounter difficulties. This data helps us identify areas for improvement and make informed decisions about product development.
  • Functionality: Cookies allow us to remember your preferences — such as your preferred language, display settings, and recently viewed items — so we can provide a personalized and consistent experience across visits.
  • Security: Certain cookies help us detect and prevent fraudulent activity, protect against unauthorized access, and maintain the integrity of the Service.
  • Marketing: With your consent, we may use cookies to deliver relevant advertising, track the effectiveness of our marketing campaigns, and limit how often you see the same advertisement.

3. Types of Cookies We Use

3.1 Strictly Necessary Cookies

These cookies are essential for you to use the features of the Service. They cannot be switched off because the Service cannot function properly without them. They are typically set in response to actions you take, such as setting your privacy preferences, logging in, or completing forms. These cookies do not store any information that could identify you personally.

3.2 Performance and Analytics Cookies

These cookies collect information about how you use the Service — for example, which pages you visit most often and any error messages you receive. All information these cookies collect is aggregated and therefore anonymous. We use this information to improve how the Service works. If you decline these cookies, we will not know when you have visited our website and will not be able to monitor performance.

We use Google Analytics with IP anonymization enabled. Data collected by Google Analytics is processed in accordance with Google's Privacy Policy. We do not share analytics data with any party other than our analytics service providers.

3.3 Functionality Cookies

These cookies are used to recognize you when you return to the Service, enable us to personalize our content for you, remember your preferences (such as display theme, language, and interface settings), and provide enhanced features. The information these cookies collect may be anonymized and cannot track your browsing activity on other websites.

3.4 Marketing and Advertising Cookies

These cookies are used with your consent to track visitors across websites and display relevant advertisements. They remember that you have visited the Queen One website and may be used to build a profile of your interests. We do not currently deploy third-party advertising networks on our Service. If we introduce advertising cookies in the future, we will update this policy and obtain fresh consent where required.

We may use first-party marketing tracking cookies to measure the effectiveness of our own marketing campaigns — for example, to understand which traffic sources result in platform sign-ups. These cookies help us allocate our marketing budget efficiently and do not enable any third-party to track your browsing outside of Queen One properties.

4. Third-Party Cookies

Some content or functionality on our Service is provided by third parties, and those third parties may set their own cookies when you interact with their content. We do not control the setting of these third-party cookies. Please review the privacy and cookie policies of the relevant third parties to understand their cookie practices.

Third parties that may set cookies in connection with our Service include:

  • Google Analytics: Web analytics service operated by Google LLC. Analytics data is processed in accordance with Google's Privacy Policy. You can opt out of Google Analytics tracking using the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on available at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
  • Hotjar: User behavior analytics service. You can opt out of Hotjar tracking at hotjar.com/legal/compliance/opt-out.
  • Stripe: Payment processor used for subscription billing. Stripe may set cookies for fraud detection and payment processing purposes when you access billing pages.
  • Intercom: Customer messaging platform used for in-app support. Intercom may set cookies to identify users for support conversations.

Note: When you interact with third-party DeFi protocols or NFT platforms through the Queen One interface, you may be interacting directly with those third-party platforms, which may have their own cookie and tracking practices. Queen One is not responsible for third-party tracking on external platforms.

5. Cookie Duration

Cookies can remain on your computer or device for different periods of time. Some cookies are "session cookies" — they exist only while your browser is open and are automatically deleted when you close your browser. Other cookies are "persistent cookies" — they survive after your browser is closed and can be used to identify your device on your next visit.

Specific cookie durations are listed in the tables in Section 3. As a general guide, Queen One's essential cookies last for your session or up to 30 days. Analytics and functionality cookies typically last for up to 2 years. You can delete all cookies from your browser at any time using your browser's cookie management settings.

6. How to Control Cookies

You have several options for controlling cookies when you use the Queen One Service:

6.1 Cookie Consent Banner

When you first visit our Service, you will see a cookie consent banner asking for your preferences. You can choose to "Accept All" cookies or "Manage Preferences" to control which non-essential cookies we set. Your preference is stored in your browser's localStorage (key: "cookieConsent") and will be remembered for future visits. You can reset your preference by clearing your browser's localStorage or site data.

6.2 Browser Settings

Most web browsers allow you to control cookies through their settings. You can typically find these settings in the "Options," "Preferences," or "Settings" menu of your browser. The following links provide information on cookie management for common browsers:

  • Google Chrome: Settings > Privacy and Security > Cookies and other site data
  • Mozilla Firefox: Options > Privacy & Security > Cookies and Site Data
  • Apple Safari: Preferences > Privacy > Manage Website Data
  • Microsoft Edge: Settings > Cookies and Site Permissions > Cookies and Site Data

Please note that disabling cookies may affect the functionality of the Service. Strictly necessary cookies cannot be disabled via browser settings without affecting your ability to log in and use core platform features.

6.3 Opt-Out Tools

For analytics cookies, you can opt out of Google Analytics tracking using the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on. For other third-party services, please refer to their individual opt-out mechanisms listed in Section 4.

6.4 Do Not Track

Some browsers include a "Do Not Track" (DNT) feature that sends a signal to websites requesting that your browsing not be tracked. There is currently no industry standard for how websites should respond to DNT signals. We do not currently alter our data collection practices in response to DNT signals, but we provide you with the cookie controls described in this section as an alternative means of managing tracking.

7. Cookies and Personal Data

Some cookies we use, and information collected through cookies, may constitute personal data under applicable privacy laws such as the GDPR and CCPA. Where cookies involve personal data, we process that data in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Your rights with respect to personal data collected via cookies — including rights of access, rectification, erasure, and portability — are the same as for other personal data we collect, and are described in detail in our Privacy Policy.

For users in the European Economic Area or United Kingdom, we rely on your consent as the legal basis for setting non-essential cookies. You can withdraw your consent at any time using the cookie control methods described in Section 6.

8. Updates to This Policy

We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, technology, legal requirements, or other factors. We will indicate the date of the most recent update at the top of this policy. If we make material changes, we will provide notice by updating the date, posting a prominent notice on the Service, or by other means appropriate to the significance of the change.

We encourage you to review this policy periodically. Your continued use of the Service after the posting of changes constitutes acceptance of those changes.
